Painting Honeybees
Creating Good Vibration via Color & Shape
In this self-paced course I will guide you step by step through the process of creating a beautiful Honeybee painting. By adding layers and layers of color and texture you will create your own masterpiece. Plus, I will teach you a bit about bees along the way. This course is designed for all levels of artists so you will have fun whether you are new to painting or if you are a seasoned artist. There is fun and learning to be had by all!
The Buzzzz.....Here's a peek at just some of what you will experience in this course:
We will conquer the blank canvas with a fun and simple lesson that will get you comfortable with how to create a bee
We will play with color and texture
Lot's of learning about Honeybees will happen throughout the course
You will become familiar with HAIR, WINGS, LEGS and OTHER PARTS of the Honeybee
A quick color lesson is included in this course, and we play around with highlights and lowlights.
Plus there are some bonus videos included in your class resources which are all about Honeybees and/or Painting
Once you enroll in this course you will be enrolled forever, so you can replay the lessons as much as you'd like
Here is a suggested list of supplies for this course:
Please note: Supplies are not included in the tuition cost
Acrylic Paint (white, black, yellow, yellow ocher, blue, magenta, red, plus any other colors you would like to add)
Canvas - I recommend a canvas measuring 18"x24" but a canvas measuring 8"x10" or larger will work well.
*Golden Fluid Acrylic, Iridescent Gold
*Spray paint (white + 2-3 additional colors of your choice)
*Stencils (I will be using a honeycomb and a flower stencil)
*Bubble wrap
Drop cloth (an old sheet or towel works well)
Rinse water
